Guest Preachers! Jesus said, "Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother" (Mk 3:35). Today our brother,Tom Connolly, opens the Word of God for us. June 24 Fr. Bruce Blois, on the 45th anniversary of his ordination as deacon, will gift us with his sermon about a stormy time (Mk 4:35-41).

Hospital and Rehabilitation Facilities Visitors Those who are new to this ministry will receive instruction from David Stowell. David is our Vestry member Pastoral Care coordinator. If you are interested in this specific ministry, please contact David at 272-9059.

Food Pantries Please remember hunger is not "seasonal". Our local food pantries need assistance year around. Please bring non-perishable donations to church on Sundays and place them in the container located in the narthex.

Trinity Hall Upgrades After much discussion and research by vestry members and talented parish members, the Vestry has approved a Trinity Hall upgrade project. The upgrade includes baseboards, chair rails, soundboard treatments, plantation shutters over the a/c returns, electrical work, and an art display system. These improvements will make Trinity Hall more attractive for our use as well as for rentals. The art display system will give us the capability of inviting local artists to display their work in Trinity Hall. The project manager is Vestry member, Louise Tucker.

Albergue Parish Dinner Our July 12 parish dinner will be occasion to celebrate the ministry in the Dominican Republic supported by the Episcopal Churches of the Naples Deanery. Fr. Hipolito, the priest of the Albergue El Buen Samaritano, our children's shelter and school in the Dominican Republic, will be our guest. People from other churches of our deanery will be invited to come. Our own Tom Connolly chairs the Deanery Committee for the Albergue, and will be the coordinator of the dinner.

Food for Thought The Coalition of Immokalee Workers states on their website, "the ultimate solution to modern-day slavery in agribusiness lies on the "demand side" of the U.S. produce market -- the major food-buying corporations that profit from the artificially-low cost of U.S. produce picked by workers in sweatshop and, in the worst cases, slavery conditions. Ultimately, those modern mega corporations must leverage their vast resources and market influence as major produce buyers to clean up slavery and other labor abuses in their supply chains once and for all." Please remember in your prayers that slavery exists in our backyard here in southwest Florida.    Weekly Events
